Information Technology Services (ITS) is excited to introduce Microsoft 365 @ UT, a new, central hub for everything M365 has to offer the university community. This website is designed to be your primary resource to learn about current and upcoming applications and services.

Coinciding with the website launch, ITS is formally announcing the following enhancements to M365:

  • Student eligibility – Current students are now eligible to claim an Exchange Online mailbox and take advantage of the full suite of M365 services. A broader, student-focused communication will be forthcoming.
  • Microsoft Teams general availability and support – The chat-centered workspace in M365 helps team members achieve more together.
  • PowerBI  Pro access – This cloud-based suite of business analytics tools enables anyone to connect to, visualize and analyze data.

Action Required

No action is required. ITS will begin to apply these updates automatically the week of July 22 and new services will appear in the Microsoft 365 app launcher (also known as the "waffle menu") as they become available. Full deployment is expected to be complete by August 2.
